Dr. Jonathan Roberts is a board-certified internal medicine specialist. Dr. Roberts completed his internal medicine residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He earned his medical degree from Southern University-Baton Rouge in Baton Rouge, LA. Dr. Roberts is also a veteran of the United States Army National Guard. He says the best part about his profession is seeing a patient achieve positive health outcomes.
Dr. Roberts ensures patient satisfaction by always asking his patients what he can do better and if he has addressed their concerns. When it comes to patient care, he says that the right relationship is struck when a patient places their trust in him for every aspect of their health and medical care. Dr. Roberts chose medicine for the opportunity to serve others and make a difference in people’s lives, and he believes in being available and accessible to his patients. He is especially proud of serving on the governance board of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
When Dr. Roberts is not working, he likes to spend time with his wife and stepdaughter, watch NFL games on TV, swim, and play basketball. He is an avid fan of the Saints and has attended many events such as the Saints Hall of Fame gala, annual Saints 5K run, tailgates, preseason practices, etc. He has attended nearly all Saints home games for the past 55 years. He is also an avid mentor for the you in New Orleans and has provided scholarships for students that aspire to have careers in the sciences, sponsored sports camps and awarded participants by having them attend their first NFL game.
