SAINTS ARE HIRING TED RATH AS DIRECTOR OF SPORTS SCIENCE

The Saints have a new director of sports science.

The team is hiring Ted Rath for the role previously held by Matt Rhea.

Rath last worked as the director of sports performance for the Eagles from 2020-23.

Rath was an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Lions when Moore played there from 2012-14. He also worked for Miami (2016) and the Rams (2017-19).

He has twice been named the NFL’s strength and conditioning coach of the year, most recently after the 2022 season.
