Why Is NBC Sports Using A Ball That Says “SAINTS” As Their Image For The Deflated Ball “Controversy”

Saints Ball On Controversey

As a hardcore fan of the New Orleans Saints, I find it very disrespectful that NBC Sports used an image of a football that clearly says “SAINTS” as their image of choice for their “Deflated Ball Controversy” article. I am not sure if it was unintentional, (which I seriously doubt), or are they trying to send subliminal messages to readers.

The New Orleans Saints had absolutely nothing to do with the issue, so why the name on the ball. It was between the Patriots and the Colts and of all 32 teams in the NFL they use an image that says “SAINTS”. Are they trying to say that the New Orleans Saints football organization represents controversy and thats why they chose this image.. I would like an explanation from them as to why they couldn’t use a ball that said “PATRIOTS”. Let us know how you feel about this in the comments below.
